  • Do I have to pay Stamp Duty?
    No, this item is strictly responsibility of the Buyer.
  • Do I have to provide Warranty?
    No, only balance of Manufacturer’s Warranty (if applicable). No cost involved.
  • Can I keep the car while is for sale?
    This option is very limited unfortunately. Our preference would be to keep the vehicle in our Showroom to have control of appointments, vehicle presentation and availability of viewing. Check with our friendly team.
  • How long would it take to sell my Car?
    Our previous data reported the time of sale could be between 2-6 weeks. However, this depends strictly on how attractive is listed. We ensure your vehicle is not over-price and sale as quickly as possible.
  • Do I have to keep my insurance?
    Safety and care is our priority. Yes, we encourage all our customers to have comprehensive insurance during the Sale Process. This includes Test-Drives. Please note if you don’t wish potential buyers for test-drive your vehicle, we could organise it as passengers only. As Golden rule, Orus Staff members are always present on test drives. When the vehicle is SOLD and Delivered. Our team would notify you to cancel your Insurance Policy and organise refunds if applicable from your insurer.
  • Do I cancel my Registration?
    No, please keep your registration active all the time. It's part of seller's responsibilities. If registration is running low in days (minimum 30 days), please contact Queensland Transport Department for renewal. (3, 6 or 12 months)
  • If I have Personalised plates on my car
    Your Personalised plates are owned by you. So, we will provide the right paperwork to Remove the plates of your Car and Attach Standard plates. Our team could take care of this process if you required. Please be aware plate fees may apply by Queensland Transport*
  • I have a Finance Payout Pending on my vehicle. Do I have to clear it before it sells?
    It’s not necessary. We could cancel your Finance Payout at the time of sale and work on change over figures (Balance/Difference) It’s important to mention if the vehicle doesn’t have Finance Pending the process would be quicker. (4-5 business days)
  • Is there limit days to keep the vehicle for sale?
    Our experience shows a vehicle shouldn’t be longer than 90 days for sale (depends on the brand & cost). However, we observe and analyse your Vehicle’s behaviour in the market and supply weekly reports to keep you informed. We adjust it accordingly to Sale the vehicle as soon as possible.
  • What happen if I decide not to sell my car after listing?
    There is no problem with that. We will cancel all advertisement and marketing applied to your vehicle on the spot. Note: if a Sale Contract / Vendor Agreement being signed with the Buyer additional Fees may be applicable*
  • I want to sell my car but is being written off previously, is that possible?
    Unfortunately, we don’t accept written off vehicles. You could sell it to a wholesaler or list it on car auctions.
  • I'm selling my car. How much does it cost me?
    Well, firstly it's saving you a lot of time and hassles. That's invaluable. Initially has a listing fee to get the vehicle ready for the following: * Vehicle Preparation * Professional Detailing * Professional Photograph * Advertising / Marketing * PPSR For vehicles under $50,000: $590 + GST For vehicles in between $50,001 and $99,999: $690 + GST For vehicles over $100,000: $790 + GST Advertising costs are different depending of the vehicle price. (carsales.com.au) When the vehicle is SOLD, 5% of the final Sale Price is applicable.
